When, where and how much
From Friday 17:00 (registration opens) to Sunday 13:30, 15–17 January 2027. Send your registration by 15 January 2027, 9:00.

A gathering of friends of JRRT’s work: talks and seminars on all manner of topics, concerts, theatre, games. More than anything, meeting people tuned to the same wavelength.
Large heated rooms right in the building – bring your own sleeping bag and mat. If you have outgrown that, there are hotels nearby.
A tearoom offering refreshments (tea, coffee, wafers, sausages, and perhaps something more substantial). Restaurants and shops of all kinds are within walking distance.
There are Prague 5 parking zones in the vicinity of the school: on Fridays, parking costs 20 CZK/h until 8:00 PM, while it is free after that time and on weekends. However, do not expect to find many available spaces. See mapy.cz for details.
Organisation fee
Covers the whole event. If you want to contribute to the programme (a talk, a performance), get in touch – you don’t pay the fee.

Costumes welcome
We would appreciate it if you arrived in a nice themed costume—as has become the custom at TolkienCon. Swords are permitted as part of your costume, but any fencing demonstrations must take place outside the building.
House rules
- Smoking and the consumption of alcohol are prohibited throughout the building. You may go outside to smoke, or visit a pub for a drink.
- Entry will be denied—without a refund—to anyone who is visibly intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.
- Please leave pets (dogs, cats, oliphaunts) at home.
- Children of all ages are welcome, provided they remain under the constant supervision of a parent.
- Please bring indoor footwear, a sleeping bag, and a sleeping mat.
- The check-in process will be faster if you have your registration "variable symbol" (reference number) ready.

Filling out the registration form secures your spot—if capacity is reached, registered attendees get priority. You can also arrive at TolkienCon without registering, but who knows how many hobbits will fit into the gym...
Registration must be sent by 15 January 2027, 9:00. You will receive a variable symbol and payment details right after submitting.
